Peckham project receives planning

We are pleased to announce our proposal to extensively remodel and extend a large semi-detached Victorian property in Peckham, London has been awarded planning permission by Southwark. Our client asked us to assist with extending the property and rationalising the current bedroom arrangement to meet the needs of their young family. The project includes a substantial garden level extension, with a 'floating glass box' garden room at the rear. Construction is due to commence in early 2018.

Quilter Street receives planning

We are pleased to announce our proposal to extend a Victorian terraced property in East London has been awarded planning permission by Tower Hamlets. The dark 'sooty' bricks were chosen to provide a subtle contrast to the existing London stock brickwork on the host building. A board marked concrete lintel completes the new extension and responds to the adopted elevational treatment within the streetscape. Construction due to commence in late 2017. Nunhead project submitted for planning

Damian Howkins Architects proposal to transform a Victorian terraced property in Nunhead, London have been submitted for planning. The ground floor extension and reconfiguration of the interiors provide our client an improved open-plan kitchen and dining room. The rear elevation at ground floor level will be removed and replaced with cast concrete walls to complement the existing brickwork. Clare Road completes

Our project at Clare Road, Whitstable completed this month. The single storey extension to the rear of the early Victorian terraced house has been extended to provide an open-plan family living space. The large expanse of glazed sliding doors improves the connection between the interior and exterior spaces, with painted black timber slats provide a striking contrast against the existing building.
